Going on vacation can be extremely relaxing and exciting for us, but no matter how much we plan, there always seem to be that one thing we forget or that brilliant item we see other travelers with and wish we’d thought of bringing.

Suddenly, we find ourselves spending a ridiculous amount of vacation money on a bottle of shampoo, or find ourselves tearing through our suitcase for one item somewhere in there, or struggling to sleep on the plane, because let's face it: unless you're flying first class, those seats were designed to make us as uncomfortable as possible.

To help you become the ultimate packing genius, here are the best travel items you could find on Amazon to make packing for your next trip so much simpler!

1.) Top-Notch Hard Case Suitcase

First things first, a strong & hard-case suitcase is an absolute must! As much as I appreciate the airline workers (especially with what they’ve had to put up with over the past few years) not all of the handlers are as good at handling baggage as one would like. Having a solid, hard-case suitcase will ensure your luggage doesn’t get damaged in transit. Also, never take for granted a four spinner wheels suitcase! Not up for debate: it’s a total must!

The Amazon Basics Hardside Spinner is a solid choice! It’s durable & sturdy, chic, and high quality.

Samsonite has been a top-seller amongst flight attendants and pro travelers for years and for good reason…they’re the best! This one is expandable so you can pack more then compress to stay in place, comes with a built-in lock system & comes with a 10-year warranty!

PRO TIP: Never worry about losing your luggage! Attach a tracker device like a Samsung SmartTag Tracker (compatible with Samsung devices only) or Cube GPS Tracker so you can track your bag using a GPS-based app. Also, it makes it easier to find your bag on the conveyor belt.

2.) The Perfect Cable Organizer

Everyone hates scrambling through cords on a daily basis, but when you’re traveling that frustration is heightened to exceedingly new levels.

One Amazon reviewer called this carrying case the "perfect little tech organizer" and they’re not wrong!

It fits everything you need, keeps cords safe and organized, is water resistant and shockproof.

3.) Large Capacity Toiletry Bag

When packing a toiletry bag, my goal is to get everything I need in one place. I used to have one for skincare, body care, hair care, makeup, basically everything had a container and it would drive me nuts. This BAGSMART Toiletry Bag changed the game and made it so easy to keep everything in one place.

With 4 separate compartments including double zipper access and elastic straps to hold bottles upright you can finally pack all necessary items, keep them where you put them during packing stages, fit it easily into your suitcase then hang it up at your destination for easy access.

4.) Packing Cubes

Packing Cubes! Packing Cubes! Packing Cubes!

There’s no better way to pack a suitcase than with packing cubes. I’m also a total organizer freak and love organizing anything that possibly can be, but the amount of time and space these save you are worth everything!

Use packing cubes to separate tops, bottoms, delicates, sleepwear, and don’t forget the laundry bag for what needs to be cleaned.

5.) RFID Passport Holder & Wallet

Storing your essential travel documents in one easy-access place makes things so much easier.

Having all your important travel documents and payment forms in one home is the best way to stay organized and never lose anything. Plus, having an RFID blocking wallet keeps your personal information safe from skimmers trying to steal your info. I know, it can sound paranoid but it’s a sad reality & worth the protection.

6.) The Perfect Carry-On Tote Bag

There’s nothing I love more than the Longchamp Le Pliage Tote as my carry-on tote.

It’s extremely lightweight — so much so that it even folds up and snaps into a tiny square when no longer needed. The bag is nylon and super durable, with well-made leather straps and flap over top. It fits everything you need with its fully open interior besides a wall/cellphone pocket so you can pack it as you prefer or can get a cheap interior organizer if you want more design.

7.) Handheld Luggage Scale

No one likes extra fees in any facet of life, but few are as expensive as travel fees for overweight luggage. A Luggage Scale is an absolute must! I’ve treasured mine ever since I learned this the hard way.

The T-Shape design is the best! It’s small enough to tuck away anywhere in your bag, then simply attach and lift to make sure you’re keeping within your airline’s weight limit.

8.) Dr. Scholl’s Slip-Ons are a Must!

Stylish and comfort can live in a shoe? Yes ladies, despite everything we’ve learned about shoes this combination actually does exist! You definitely need these in your life for traveling and walking around a new city.

These sneakers are perfect for airport wear, touring the city, match easily with almost any outfit and have great arch support.

Note: They run a little big so get a half size down.

In addition to your go-to sneakers, bring two extra pairs of shoes (three if you’re like me and enjoy working out on vacation). Pack a dressy pair of booties, comfy sandals if weather allows, and a good running or training shoe.

9.) Power Plug Adapter

Using a plug adapter in different countries is something we’re all aware of (no one wants a ‘Just Married’ moment) but there’s so many different ones for different countries, it can get overwhelming to figure out what you need where.

Getting a universal adapter like this one from SublimeWare is good for over 150 countries including the US, UK, EU and China. Getting a solid all-in-one that also includes USB ports is a life saver.

10.) BOSE Noise Cancelling Headphones

Definitely an investment but these are the best headphones you’ll never regret buying. These will block out all unwanted noises and make long flights less disturbing! Do yourself a favor and get these as soon as possible.

11.) Cozy Neck Pillow & Blanket

We all know how uncomfortable and cold in-flight travel can be, so a good blanket and pillow is non-negotiable.

Pillows & blankets can take up space quickly so getting a set that’s comfortable & big enough, yet also can be bundled into a small, compact bag is something you can never forget at home!

Collapsible water bottles are fantastic for travel! This one clips onto your bags or fits really anywhere inside, is leak proof, and can be used with hot and cold drinks.

So there you have it: my top favorite travel must-haves! Of course, there are plenty of little non-essentials that make traveling easy but remember, wherever you go there’s usually the same products in a travel size available there. Just set aside the money you would need for those little items and grab them from your destination. Less space to worry about packing and you may even find something new you love!

Thanks & we wish you the best,
